The Yard House

Completed in September 2019, a contemporary courtyard garden design for the ‘The Yard House’ (Jonathan Tuckey Design). This stunning property was featured on Channel 4’s Grand Designs and utilises translucent Rodeca polycarbonate panels for walls.

The courtyard garden was featured in House & Garden magazine and contrasts staggered geometric concrete paving with ethereal Japanese-woodland inspired banks of planting.

Carpets of ‘mind your own business’ and creeping thyme replace formal lawn, and seasonal hits of interest are provided by masses of flowering perennials such as Japanese anemone. A grove of closely planted birch trees at the rear of the garden create a green backdrop, dappled light and an enveloping feel.
