A terrazzo like material we developed using reclaimed rubble set into a cement free binder and polished to reveal a terrazzo like material. Rubble tells a story of place, while reducing waste and supporting the circular economy in construction.

Blending landscape, architecture and public realm, the project reimagines arrival for one of the world’s most iconic institutions — creating a welcoming and greener threshold to history.

We seek out interesing reclaimed materials — bricks, stone, timber — not just for their lower carbon impact, but for their texture and history. Our approach is to reimagine waste as beauty, creating gardens with depth and narrative.

Using timber, stone, concrete or other materials, we like to play with furniture design and objects.

We’re exploring mycelium-based materials as a low-impact alternative for landscape structures and features. Grown from fungal networks, mycelium is compostable, lightweight, and part of an exciting movement toward regenerative design.

Our planting design embraces adaptability — selecting species that can thrive in heat, drought, heavy rain and poor soils. Blending ecology with aesthetics, we create dynamic plant communities that support biodiversity and stand up to the challenges of a changing climate.

As one of the expert designers on BBC Two’s Your Garden Made Perfect, Tom brought imaginative, sustainable gardens to life using cutting-edge virtual reality. The show invites millions of viewers into the design process — highlighting how technology, creativity and collaboration can transform outdoor spaces.
